Using zero trust architecture while broadening access for employees

Dug Song, vice president and general manager for Cisco and co-founder of Duo Security, says that as organizations look to broaden access for their employees, concepts like zero trust can help tailor that access correctly.

The introduction of personal devices, IoT items and outside cloud platforms is not completely within an organization’s control. So rethinking access privileges can help add a layer of security needed to protect users and networks, Song says.
