IBM’s Mark Johnson on the need to integrate security and operations

Vice President of Federal Technology Mark Johnson says that the road to zero trust involves many steps. He says that oftentimes security is thought of as a counter to operations, but it’s critical to build security within operations. “We need to make sure that as we’re protecting assets—the valuable data we have in government—we’re also making sure to enable the workers and citizens who need that data,” he says.
